Luke is potty trained except for a few times at night!!!! John was all about stickers, Clare all about doing it herself and on her own time and crabby patties for Luke(thanks to Ms Andrea). I think we need to take stock in crabby patties. Mr. Larry is a god sent! "Luke who fixes your glasses?"..."Mr Warry fixes my glasses and gives me lollipops!" We are so proud of him how well he is doing with his glasses. "Mommy, take my glasses downstairs" then after he wakes up he finds them on the island and puts them on all by himself. It beats playing the hide and seek game with his glasses like old times. You would never know where you would find them...in a shoe, in the mess of toys downstairs or a drawer. Loves loves being a welder and a fireman thanks to Uncle Teddy, Aunt Steph and cousin Vinny. You gotta love how you never know what Luke is going to be putting on...Mr Underware Man. I love putting him to bed at night, "mommy, can we go to Halloween, Chuckie Cheese and Grocery Store?" After I say sure, "thank you mommy!" "You are the best!" Luke proceeded to tell the cashier at Home Depot she looked like his Grandmom(she was African American with glasses), after she got a good 1st chuckle then Luke told her, "peace out" which then gave her the 2nd chuckle for the day.
Clare is always giving us a good laugh. Wouldn't be surprised if she is going to be the next top model. Regan and Luke had a photo shoot for their birthday pictures but it somehow turned into a Clare photo shoot. Mr. Jim got GREAT pictures of the kids. Clare was shopping with Jo Jo and Ms Tracie at Walmart, while walking past the watch section "if you buy me a Hanna Montana watch, you will be the best mommy ever!" Clare was Mary and Seth was Joseph during her school Christmas Program, after "Joseph " put his arm around "Mary" to console her after Jesus was born, "Mary" proceeded to tell "Joseph", "get your hands off of me!" That is are Clare!
John was such a believer this year. John rewrote his list so many times and was so sweet to always remember to add stuff for Alba and Little Bill on his list. Every morning John would be very curious to see the next observing spot for the Elf. "Mommy can the Elf see through walls?" "Mommy if something is under the tree, will Santa take it?" I asked him, "like what?" John replied, "Some money" I guess he was thinking if he would leave some money he would get extra stuff. He had a great idea on how to get the money for underneath the tree. He made tons of paper footballs, he even colored them brown with black lace. John was going to sell them at school for a dollar to all of his friends. After reading the Night Before Christmas and listening to Vinny tell the story, John was writing his note to Santa Clause to leave by the cookies. It was so cute...the note said, "Merry Christmas Mr. C" with a picture of a Christmas tree and have it written at the bottom of the page with a big arrow pointing to a Cinnamon Smencil. Christmas morning...John ran into our room, "mommy daddy! I got my snowboard, Clare got a razor, Luke got a truck and Regan got a horse!" "Boy, look how nice this one is wrapped!" Like always, we are last minute wrappers, John got to wrap John's and grandma was wrapping Regan's presents. Since grandma was finished, she offer to help wrap one of John's gifts, hence the difference in wrapping styles. Daddy said, "maybe Mrs Claus wrapped that one." John lost his 2nd tooth.
