EASTER!!

John told us he figured out there was no Easter Bunny..."because when I was at Walmart, I saw all these Easter baskets already made up...so that is where the moms and dads get them."  Easter morning John told me,"the Easter bunny is cheap he got this rake, shovel and hoe from Big Lots for $8!"

Getting Too Big

As we were driving to speech today...Clare from the backseat..."mommy, I love sheech(speech) and I love Ms Shue(Sue)!  I cant get over how she doing so well...Thanks to Ms Sue.  So when we were waiting for speech, we turned Clare's paper work in for Kindergarten.  As we are sitting there...we started to look at this packet of information.  I started reading this pamphlet to Clare..."Clare, can you say your ABCs...abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxy and z now I know my ABCs won't you sing them with me please...Clare can you count...1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11....39 40....Clare can you write your ABCs...yes....Clare can you write your numbers....mommy that is too hard especially 100.  It was so cute, with every question, you could just see the wheels turning in her little head!

Cant Believe My Ears

I was rocking Regan right before bed and John walked into the room.  He pulled up a stool beside my chair and started reading me his book!  It was the first time he read a whole chapter to me!  I am so proud how he is getting so confident in this reading skills.  Just seems like yesterday when it was the beginning of first grade.  We would read for 15 minutes and it was nothing but a nightmare.  John would get so frustrated  because he couldn't pronounce every word and when I would correct him, he would flip out.
